Released in 1997, Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion didn’t make a huge dent in the box office, even though it featured two of the biggest stars of the 1990s; Lisa Kudrow of Friends Fame, and Mira Sorvino who had recently won an Oscar for her work in Woody Allen’s Mighty Aphrodite.
The film wasn’t exactly a bomb, but it didn’t seem to resonate much, and the critics were brutal.
